Here in Boston we employ around 400 colleagues and produce ready-to-eat salads, prepared vegetables, and snacks for many of the major retailers such as Coop, Boots, Greggs, Costco, Spar, and BOL.

What you'll be doing:

Skilled Factory Operative - Day Shift Assembly - A Shift 3's and 2's 06:00-18:00 at £13.45 per hour.

As a Skilled Factory Operative, you will be responsible for the preparation of the production lines. Additionally, there is the skilled side of the role which involves batching and weighing ingredients into large bins, while filling out all checks. As part of your role, you will ensure the team is working to their maximum potential and that the machinery is functioning consistently and correctly. You will be responsible for monitoring production to help attain KPIs for productivity and efficiency.

What we're looking for:

Applicants must have a good level of education in verbal, written, and numerical skills. Experience in the food manufacturing industry is essential, preferably in salads, and candidates must be flexible in their approach to shifts. The successful candidate will be required to work in a physically demanding area of the factory. At times, they may also be required to move shifts or departments to meet the needs of the business.
