Job summary

Arriva London Ltd is seeking a Skilled Engineer to join the Tottenham Garage team and ensure buses are maintained to the highest standards. You will perform planned maintenance, diagnose faults, and carry out repairs on a fleet of public buses, aligning with Arriva and DVSA requirements and supporting MOT readiness.

The role offers flexible shifts, ongoing training including High Voltage/EV and diagnostics, and opportunities to advance in a safety‑conscious london transport operation.

Qualifications

• PSV, HGV or light vehicle maintenance and repair qualifications or 5+ years hands-on experience.
• Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• PCV licence preferred or willing to obtain one.
• Ability to pass a PCV pre-employment medical and deliver quality maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Perform planned and preventative maintenance, fault diagnosis and reactive repairs on a fleet of buses.
• Ensure servicing, inspections and repairs meet Arriva and DVSA standards.
• Assist with MOT preparation and maintenance campaigns.
• Improve bus reliability through monitoring and timely interventions.
