Job description

Compensation: $22 - $25 hourly

Responsibilities:

• Operate power tools, hand tools, and heavy equipment such as jackhammers, survey equipment, and forklifts
• Remove debris and hazardous materials to maintain a safe and clean job site, complying with safety regulations and OSHA standards
• Assist subcontractors, tradesmen, and craft workers like roofers, plasterers, carpenters, painters, and electricians
• Carry, load, and unload tools and building materials such as sheetrock, saws, lumber, tile, and grout
• Dismantle old structures and build temporary structures like signs, cones, barricades, ramps, and traffic control devices

Qualifications:

• OSHA 10 certification is required
• Construction experience, knowledge of construction methods, tools, and ability to read blueprints and plans are necessary
• High school diploma or equivalent is required; associate’s degree, trade certification, or apprenticeship is highly preferred
• Ability to work in extreme weather conditions
• Good depth perception, eye-hand coordination, and mechanical skills are advantageous
