Job summary

VanRath is recruiting a Skilled Construction Operative for Magherafelt, Northern Ireland. You will assist tradesmen on-site across void and tenanted properties, supporting safety and efficient delivery of tasks.

The role requires construction or maintenance experience, a valid CSR card and full driving licence, good IT skills with mobile devices, and strong customer service focus. You will follow health and safety protocols and report to site managers to meet client needs.

Qualifications

• Relevant experience in construction or maintenance roles.

• Ability to work safely and follow health and safety protocols.
• Good IT skills and confidence using mobile devices or PDAs.

Responsibilities

• Assist tradesmen onsite with day-to-day tasks across void and tenanted properties.
• Conduct kerbing, fencing, flagging, and block work activities.
• Assist with concreting, loading/unloading materials, and securing equipment.
• Support safe installation and securement of materials, adhering to health and safety standards.
• Maintain a clean and tidy work site at all times.
• Complete required documentation accurately and on time.
• Follow instructions from site managers to meet client needs and project deadlines.
