Stagecoach is looking for a friendly, experienced, reliable coach builder to join our engineering team in Nuneaton.

What the job involves:

An experienced Coachbuilder / Vehicle Body Repairer, you'll need to be familiar with a variety of repair techniques to help maintain and repair our fleet of buses based at Nuneaton depot.

  • You'll be part of a close-knit team that work behind the scenes in our workshop.
  • Experienced in vehicle body repair, you'll be able to carry out a variety of repairs and routine preventative maintenance tasks to the interior and exterior of our vehicles to keep them looking smart and serviceable.
  • Whether the vehicle has minor damage or a major bump, you'll be confident and competent enough to carry out the necessary repairs to high standards, maintaining safety and quality throughout.
  • You'll need your own basic tool kit for this role, although specialist equipment is provided. (We also pay a weekly tool allowance to help you maintain / upgrade your own tool kit).
  • You'll need to be comfortable working on your own initiative, but also be a good team player, able to work and communicate well with others.

Don’t worry if you aren’t trained in the most up to date equipment, we can provide you with all the necessary training to support you in your day-to-day tasks.

Ideally, you’ll be a qualified PCV coach builder. However, car, HGV and similar backgrounds will also be considered.

Pay is important, we have several rates depending on experience so there is always the opportunity to progress. For this job role we are offering the qualifying candidate an hourly basic rate of £19.95.
