Qualifications

  • Time served experienced CNC Programmer competent in programming up to 5 Axis MAZAK machinery.
  • Strong background in programming, setting and operating CNC Milling machines required.
  • Ability to work from engineering drawings essential.

  • Working with a small engineering team to supply machined components for various industries.
  • Ensuring proper use of tools and techniques to produce high-precision components.
  • Assisting in skills development of apprentices.

Skilled CNC Miller /Programmer / Setter / Operator - Full Time, Part time, Shift & Permanent Position

Highest rates of pay in South Wales will reflect level of experience

Required skills:

  • Time served and experienced CNC Programmer competent in programming FANUC & Mazatrol control systems up to 5 Axis with specific experience of MAZAK machinery programming
  • Specifically, applicants should have a strong background in programming, setting and operating CNC Milling machines
  • Ideal candidate will be unafraid of taking a lead role in our mills section
  • A working knowledge of CNC Mills robotic production
  • Experience using CMM facilities and other measuring equipment
  • The ability to work from engineering drawings is absolutely essential, as is knowledge of working to tolerances
  • Using Fusion 360 or One-CNC, CAD systems
  • Must have the ability to work using own initiative, and undertake first off inspections
  • Must be conscientious, hard-working and self-motivated with excellent standards, a positive attitude and a desire to learn
  • Must be quality standards aware
  • Be comfortable communicating with management regarding any issues whatsoever
  • Ensuring proper use of tools and programming techniques to produce high-precision components.
  • Conscious of our continuous improvement initiatives, whilst also identifying opportunities to enhance production efficiency and quality.
  • Assisting where required in skills development of apprentices
