Job summary

Manpower UK is recruiting two experienced Arborists for permanent roles in Barnsley. The position offers hourly pay from £16.50 to £19.00, dependent on qualifications, with higher rates for fully climbing qualified candidates.

Working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, you will join a new team delivering tree removals, crown work, deadwooding and planting. Applicants should have climbing arborist experience, safety awareness, a full UK driving licence, and relevant qualifications.

Qualifications

• Experience as climbing arborist and requirement to work safely at height.
• Awareness of safety protocols to protect workers and bystanders.
• Relevant qualifications CS 30/CS 31, CS 38, CS 39, CS 41 as listed.
• DBS check is beneficial but not essential for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Tree removals, crown thinning/reductions/lifting, planting and ongoing maintenance.
• Deadwooding and general tree care activities.
• Operate and maintain arboricultural plant, vehicles and equipment with care.
• Commitment to safe working practices and high-quality tree work.

Climbing arborist experience

Full UK Driving Licence

Level 3 Maintenance (CS 30/CS 31)

Level 3 Climb Trees and Perform Aerial Rescue (CS 38)

Level 2 Operate a Chain Saw from a Rope and Harness (CS 39)
