Job summary
SEED Environmental seeks a skilled Carpenter to join the Fire & Flood team in Swindon. You will deliver first and second fix carpentry, kitchen installations, and reinstatement works within restoration projects.
The role requires high standards of workmanship, reliability, and the ability to work with other trades in occupied properties. A driving licence and safe work practices are essential.
Qualifications
- NVQ Level 2 in Site Carpentry or equivalent demonstrable experience.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Ability to undertake first and second fix carpentry to a high standard.
- Competence in kitchen installation and fitting.
- Accurate measuring, marking out, and fitting skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with other trades.
Responsibilities
- First and second fix carpentry across varied restoration projects.
- Door and frame installation and finishing carpentry work.
- Stud partition construction and flooring installation.
- Kitchen removal and full installation work.
- Cabinet fitting and alignment, including worktops.
- Coordinate with plumbing/Electrical trades on site.
- Adhere to programmes, deadlines and health & safety on site.
