Job description

My client is looking for a Skilled Cabinet Maker / Bench Joiner to join their production team. Based in Somerset, they design, manufacture, and install bespoke interiors for the high-end residential market.

They are 20 mins from Yeovil, 15 mins from Crewkerne, and 30 mins from Dorchester.

What are we looking for in a candidate?

• Passion for furniture and cabinet making.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in making and installing both fitted and free-standing furniture.
• Ability to complete projects from start to finish.
• Ability to read and work from technical drawings independently.
• Experience operating woodworking machinery safely and efficiently.
• Proficiency with woodworking hand tools.
• Excellent communication and professionalism.
• Attention to detail and high standards of workmanship.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team on larger projects.
• Knowledge of CNC machinery is advantageous.

Our Package and Benefits:

• 40 hours across 5 days, 7:30 am - 4:30 pm.
