Job summary

Fawkes & Reece Group in London is recruiting an experienced Bricklayer to join a busy construction project in Wandsworth. You will perform high-quality brickwork, work well within a team, and maintain a tidy, safe site.

Applicants must have proven bricklaying experience, a valid CSCS card, own tools and PPE, and the ability to read drawings and follow health and safety guidelines. This is a temporary/contract role paying £220 per day.

Qualifications

• Proven bricklaying experience on construction sites.
• Valid CSCS card.
• Own tools and PPE.
• Good understanding of health and safety on site.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable and punctual with high workmanship standards.

Responsibilities

• Laying bricks, blocks and other masonry materials to the required specifications.
• Reading and interpreting drawings and setting out work accurately.
• Mixing mortar and ensuring materials are prepared correctly.
• Maintaining consistent alignment, levels and joints throughout the brickwork.
• Working alongside Hod Carriers and other site operatives to meet project deadlines.
• Following site health and safety procedures at all times.
• Keeping the work area clean, organised and free from hazards.
