Job Description:

Join Guidant as we collaborate with the world's largest aircraft manufacturer, Airbus. We are seeking skilled Aircraft Fitters to join Airbus' dynamic team at the Broughton site, within the Wing Build Production section. Candidates should have experience in a similar manufacturing or engineering role and possess a full Aerospace or Engineering Apprenticeship qualification.

At Airbus Broughton, you'll play a vital role in assembling wings for Airbus's commercial aircraft, including the A320, A330, and A350XWB families.

As a Skilled Aircraft Fitter, you will:

• Engage in assembly, general fittings, and component installations.
• Conduct repairs on metallic and composite materials.
• Work occasionally in confined spaces or at heights.

Shift options include:

• Double Days: Week 1 - 06:00 to 13:10, Week 2 - 13:30 to 20:40 (Monday to Friday)
• Nights: 20:45 to 06:00 (Monday to Thursday)

Candidate requirements:

• Completed Aerospace or Engineering Full Apprenticeship.
• Experience in roles such as Sheet Metal Worker, Metal Fabricator, Welder, or Mechanical Fitter.
• Additional accepted qualifications include Indenture, City & Guilds Level 2, BTEC ONC, Modern Apprenticeship Certificate, NVQ Level 2 or 3, Key Skills Level 2.
• Self-motivated with excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Openness to continuous improvement and innovation.
• Adherence to high Health and Safety standards.
