Skilled Aircraft Fitter Opportunity at a Leading Aerospace Company

Exciting opportunity for a Skilled Aircraft Fitter to join a renowned global leader in the aircraft manufacturing industry. This company is known for its innovative engineering and manufacturing excellence, and they are seeking talented individuals to join their team.

As a Skilled Aircraft Fitter, your responsibilities will include working from engineering instructions, interpreting aircraft drawings, and completing tasks to the required standards. You will use power tools for drilling, shimming, and sealing, and may work in confined spaces, such as tanks, which involve restricted and physically demanding access through oval-shaped manholes.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:

1. Aerospace or Engineering Full Apprenticeship Indenture and City & Guilds Level 2, BTEC ONC or Modern Apprenticeship Certificate, NVQ Level 2 or 3, Key Skills Level 2, and City & Guilds Level 2/BTEC ONC in a recognized engineering field.
2. Self-motivation with good communication skills.
3. Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
4. Openness to continuous improvement processes and new ways of working.
5. Strong knowledge of and high regard for Health and Safety standards.
