Job summary

Shiplake College is seeking a dedicated House Pastoral Leader to support Year 12 and Year 13 pupils within the Sixth Form Centre. You will work under the Housemaster/Housemistress, helping pupils navigate their studies and plan for life after sixth form.

This term-time role (3 days a week, Wed–Fri, 7:30am–5:00pm, with INSET days and paid overtime) requires discretion, empathy and a collaborative approach with tutors, staff and the wider pastoral team.

Responsibilities

• Uphold high standards of care and support for Sixth Form pupils.
• Collaborate with Housemaster/Housemistress, tutors and domestic staff.
• Strong team player with effective communication and listening skills.
