Job summary

The Sixth Form Study Centre at St Martin's School in Hutton, Brentwood, is recruiting a supervisor for a term-time post of 37 hours a week, plus two days in August. The work covers study support and guidance, building learning resources, mentoring, arranging enrichment trips and administering the 16-19 Bursary Scheme.

Hours are fixed, 08:00 to 16:00 Monday to Thursday and 08:00 to 15:30 on Friday. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• Enhanced DBS disclosure confirmed.
• Satisfactory references required.
• Online checks completed and not barred from regulated activity.

• Supervise the Sixth Form Study Centre.
• Provide study support and guidance to Sixth Form students.
• Develop learning resources.
• Work with staff across the school to promote effective independent learning.
• Assist with mentoring initiatives.
• Coordinate external enrichment opportunities.
• Administer the 16-19 Bursary Scheme in liaison with the Central Finance Team.
