Job summary

Forge Valley School is seeking a Sixth Form Engagement Officer to support attendance, events and the Sixth Form admin. The role requires strong communication, emotional intelligence and the ability to engage with pupils and families in a busy 11-18 academy.

The post involves supporting a dynamic Sixth Form provision, organising events, maintaining records and contributing to an inclusive environment where pupils build confidence and resilience.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills and commitment to pupil welfare.
• Experience of working with young people in an educational setting.
• Proven track record in administration and organisational ability.
• Methodical, well organised and able to prioritise to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Support the Sixth Form area of the school with attendance and event organisation.
• Assist with Sixth Form administration and general school admin tasks.
• Contribute to a busy but efficient Sixth Form provision.
• Engage constructively with pupils from diverse backgrounds and families.
