Arup invites you to a six-week internship where you’ll work with Fire Engineers on real projects across a range of clients. You’ll gain exposure to fire safety engineering, coordinate with designers, and learn fire strategy development using design software and site visits.

You’ll be supported to pursue a professional qualification from day one and contribute to research that improves safety for communities and clients alike.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a relevant engineering degree (fire, mechanical, civil/structural, architecture).
• Interest in sustainable development and problem solving.
• Willingness to learn and collaborate across disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Work with Fire Engineers on real projects during a six-week internship.
• Coordinate with external designers and construction professionals.
• Explore fire-specific design software and conduct research on hazards.
• Visit sites to observe fire safety strategy implementation.
