Location: Campbeltown | Salary: £34.1k - £44.9k per annum (dependent on skills and qualifications)

This excellent opportunity is ideally suited to an experienced First Call Operative with a ‘service’ background, heating engineer/plumber, or other skilled trades. Ideally, you will hold a City and Guilds and/or ACS accreditation in your field.

This opportunity is within our Scottish Independent Undertakings (SIUs), which are unique in the UK as they are not connected to the National Grid and use Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) as a feedstock.

The role involves multi-skilled duties, including boiler servicing, emergency duties, and meter work. Skills in mains/service laying and LNG plant duties will be developed over time. Full training in all SIU activities will be provided.

What you will need

• Ideally a time-served skilled tradesperson or nearing the completion of your apprenticeship.
• Preferably holding a City and Guilds and/or ACS accreditation.
• Reliable, practical, and hardworking.
• Good leadership qualities and excellent interpersonal skills.
• Full driving licence.
• Ability to use field IT equipment and maintain high safety and technical standards.
