Job Description:

Onsite: 1-2 days a week onsite

• Take a technical lead role in the development of student information applications, data integration, and workflow design for a range of projects and other data integration services.
• Assist in creating and developing strategies and standards for both new and existing service designs, ensuring process developments are fully integrated into the environment and support the University’s business processes.
• Develop and maintain forward-looking roadmaps and plans that align with the functional department’s strategy and tactical initiatives.
• Develop software using specialist programming techniques and in-depth technical expertise; developed and tested software should be capable of deployment to a User Acceptance Testing environment using documented release procedures.
• Be responsible for the delivery and overall quality of the best technical software solutions to meet customers’ needs and business requirements.
• Actively test developed software to identify potential faults and make decisions on the most appropriate and effective technical approaches for resolving specific issues, as the technical expert.
• Make a significant contribution to test strategies and plans as determined by the project, through the definition of test cases and scenarios and providing expert input into test strategies.
