Job summary

R.C.S. Construction, Inc. is seeking a skilled Carpenter with 5 years of experience to read blueprints, frame walls, and install casework and hardware across commercial projects.

You will work with common building materials, follow codes, and maintain tools while sometimes traveling within a 1-hour radius of Rapid City. A drug test is required; paid training and growth are available.

Qualifications

• 5 Years experience preferred.
• Basic communication skills.
• Provide personal tools.
• Maintain equipment/tools daily.
• Comply with Safety Handbook.

Responsibilities

• Read, understand, and implement blueprints.
• Work with all necessary building materials.
• Understand building codes and standards.
• Frame walls, shear floors, roofs, layout walls, joists, trusses, stairs.
• Install casework, accessories, windows, door jams, and hardware.
• Set and strip forms.
• Work long hours/weekends when needed.
• Strong communication, time management, and leadership.
• Daily maintenance of equipment/tools.
