Job summary

Aspirare Recruitment is seeking a Labourer for site work based in Bathgate with occasional delivery duties to Glasgow. The role pays £16.00 per hour CIS and offers a temp-to-perm opportunity. Working hours are Monday to Thursday 8:00am–4:30pm and Friday 8:00am–1:00pm, with a 30-minute lunch.

Work spans East Lothian, Edinburgh, and about 25% in Glasgow, across workshop and site environments. You will deliver engineering materials, load/unload heavy components, move items around the workshop and

Qualifications

• Full, valid driving licence is required.
• CSCS card is required.
• Experience with steel/metal or engineering materials is advantageous.
• Physically fit and able to handle heavy materials.
• Reliable, punctual and hardworking.
• Flexible to travel between East Lothian, Edinburgh and Glasgow.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engineering materials and goods to various sites.
• Load and unload heavy steel and metal components.
• Move and sort engineering supplies around workshop and site.
• Assist with general workshop and site duties.
• Keep work areas clean, tidy and organised.
• Handle materials safely and efficiently.
• Support the wider team with day-to-day operational requirements.
