Job summary

Skilled Careers is seeking a Welfare Labourer for an immediate start at a site in Ashford. The role involves cleaning and maintaining welfare facilities, rest areas and kitchens, as well as basic site maintenance tasks.

You will replenish supplies, stay hygiene-focused, and report issues to the site supervisor. The ideal candidate is reliable, punctual, and able to work independently with a good understanding of health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Reliable, punctual and hardworking attitude.
• Experience in cleaning, welfare or construction site work is beneficial.
• CSCS card preferred but not essential, depending on site requirements.
• Ability to work independently and manage daily tasks.
• Good health, hygiene and safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning and maintaining site welfare facilities, including toilets, kitchens and rest areas.
• Keeping communal areas clean, tidy and hygienic.
• Replenishing essential supplies, including soap and toilet paper.
• Carrying out general labouring and basic site maintenance duties.
• Reporting any damage, repairs or maintenance issues to the site supervisor.
• Following all site health and safety procedures.
