Job summary

JLL is seeking a Site Waste Manager/Supervisor in Filton, Bristol, to lead the waste programme with hands‑on leadership and strategic oversight. You’ll ensure regulatory compliance, accurate financial reporting, and a high‑performing six‑member team handling segregation, storage and disposal operations.

You will drive continuous improvement, maintain training matrices, and report monthly results to site leadership and the UK Waste Programme Manager.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing waste operations in industrial, commercial, or facilities settings.
• Strong leadership, people development and performance management skills.
• Solid understanding of hazardous and non-hazardous waste rules and reporting.
• Finance minded with ability to track costs, budgets and invoices.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and manage all waste activities across the Filton site.
• Directly manage a team of six waste operatives with daily tasks and development.
• Maintain training records, ensure regulatory compliance and safety.
• Prepare monthly waste data, costs, and performance reports for leadership.
• Liaise with contractors, monitor service delivery and contracts.
