Zusammenfassung

JLL in Bristol seeks an experienced Contractor Supervising Officer to oversee hazardous and non-hazardous waste operations at the Filton site. You will supervise contractor activities, coordinate road closures, ensure correct waste labelling and compliance with safety procedures.

The role requires COSHH knowledge, permit-to-work use, and strong leadership. Excellent communication with contractors and management is essential, with availability for the 07:00–15:30 shift.

Qualifikationen

• Experience supervising contractor activities in hazardous waste operations.
• Knowledge of hazardous waste regulations and waste transfer documentation.
• Experience in industrial or large-scale facilities environment is desirable.

Aufgaben

• Supervise waste contractors during tanker and skip operations for hazardous and non-hazardous waste.
• Plan and manage road closures and traffic management for access and positioning.
• Verify waste material identification, labelling and segregation before disposal.
• Lead risk assessments and enforce PPE and safety procedures on site.
• Coordinate communication between contractors, site management and operatives.
• Respond to spills or incidents and manage containment and reporting.
