Job summary

Fawkes & Reece London is seeking a Traffic Marshall on a Norwich site. This temporary, full-time role starts ASAP and runs long-term, paying £16.75 per hour. You will direct vehicle movements, guide drivers and operators, and maintain safe site access.

A valid CSCS card and Traffic Marshall training are prerequisites, with a strong emphasis on health and safety. Responsibilities include coordinating deliveries, helping with unloading, and ensuring pedestrians and vehicles move safely.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as Traffic Marshall or Banksman on a construction site.
• Valid CSCS card.
• Traffic Marshall training or certification.
• Good communication skills and the ability to give clear instructions.
• Strong understanding of construction site health and safety procedures.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team.
• Full PPE and the ability to provide relevant documentation when requested.

Responsibilities

• Directing and controlling the movement of vehicles entering, leaving and moving around the site.
• Safely guiding delivery drivers and plant operators when manoeuvring.
• Ensuring the safe movement of pedestrians and vehicles around the site.
• Managing site deliveries and assisting with unloading where required.
• Maintaining clear access routes and ensuring site traffic rules are followed.
• Communicating clearly with drivers, plant operators and site management.
