A leading educational institution is seeking a dedicated Site Technician to ensure the safety and maintenance of school premises. This role involves overseeing site security, building maintenance, and supporting school events. The successful candidate will work across multiple locations within the Trust, contributing to a high-quality educational experience for students.

Position: Site Technician
Start Date: 1st September 2025
Contract Type: Permanent
Hours: 37hrs per week (Monday-Friday 7:30am-6pm however occasional weekend and evening work may be required to meet the school needs. Working hours and pattern are negotiable)
Pay: £24,404 per annum
Allowance: n/a
Location: Westwood College; however you may on occasions be required to cover duties at other schools across the Trust

Thank you for your interest in the post of Site technician at the Westwood College. We are seeking a dedicated, enthusiastic site technician to join our team. The school site team helps to ensure that the school premises are safe, secure, clean and well maintained to support the delivery of high – quality education for pupils. This will include overseeing site security, building maintenance, health and safety, compliance and supporting school events. The Trust comprises of 9 schools within and around the town of Leek in the Staffordshire Moorlands, which includes Westwood College and Leek High School. The Trust promotes high aspirations and the excellence for all; our aim is to develop a strong partnership between academies, students, and the wider community to secure an outstanding learning experience for everyone. We have high expectations and strive to create independent learners fit for the demands of the 21st Century.
Although based at Westwood College, you will develop links with and work alongside other schools within the Trust and you may be expected to work at another location.
