BAM FM is recruiting a Site Technician to join our team. The Site Technician will be based at Tudor Grange Dingle Lane Academy in Solihull.

Available Shift Pattern:

Working 40 Hours per week.
Shift times to be confirmed.
Pay: £13.50 per Hour.

Your mission

The technician will be multi-skilled, carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance in line with BAM FM HR, H&S, Quality, and Environmental policies and procedures. This role involves significant Grounds Maintenance work and will be mostly outdoors.

Principle Accountabilities:

• Responding to daily requests/enquiries, resolving problems presented by Authority representatives, building users, and BAM FM staff.
• Proactive and flexible approach to site maintenance and porterage duties.
• Delivering high customer satisfaction through prompt responses and efficient completion of tasks.
• Managing ongoing and routine maintenance programs.
• Providing detailed information for the procurement of spares and consumables.
• Ensuring the safe storage of spare parts, materials, tools, and consumables.
• Reporting and addressing maintenance issues promptly.
• Offering technical support to colleagues when needed.
• Adhering to health & safety standards, including risk assessments and method statements.
• Managing daily room setups and porterage requests.
• Managing the BMS system and generating monthly reports.
• Providing emergency access and out-of-hours cover for maintenance emergencies.
• Performing other duties as required.
