Site Technician

Cantello Tayler Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Site Technician to join our client based in Camberley.

Site Technician with experience of working with hand tools or on site conditions, with an understanding of carpentry / or electrics / or metal working / or partitions and ceilings / would be welcome.

The Site Technician will be responsible for working with fabric structures and must be willing to learn basic electrics for lighting and controls in a variety of projects and environments across the UK. The successful candidate will have a willingness to go the extra mile onsite, receive training and show an interest in site activities, high attention to detail with a passion for interiors, and is successful working independently or as a team.

The successful Site Technician will be responsible for:

• Installation of Metal and Background Structures for Ceilings and Fabrics Systems.
• Installation of Fabric Architecture
• Installation of Lighting Systems and Electrical Components.
• Communication with team members, managers and clients.
• Applicant must be comfortable working at height.
• Applicant must be willing to work away regularly.

The Site Technician will have:

• Applicant must be willing to carry out work of a physically demanding nature.
• Good time-management and punctuality.
• Understanding of site requirements / read dimensions, ability to read drawings and create site reports.
• Able to work under pressure and to prioritize workload effectively.
• Able to work remotely without close supervision.
• HSE awareness.
• Being pro-active, able to work autonomously and use initiative.
• Problem solving attitude.
• Naturally inquisitive with strong technical understanding.
• A 'can-do' attitude and willingness to be adaptable.
• Motivated and willing to receive training and development.
• Driving License Preferred but not essential.
