Job description

Site Surveyor – Restructuring and Recovery

Marsh Restructuring & Recovery Practice is seeking candidates for the position of Site Surveyor. The role can be based in Leeds, Manchester, Birmingham, or Glasgow.

Marsh provides insurance cover and Health & Safety advice to Insolvency Practitioners, Law of Property Receivers, and other professional service firms to protect them from the moment they are appointed over an insolvent entity.

The Site Surveyor will visit locations related to insolvent companies, gather risk information, and conduct health and safety audits or assessments.

The ideal candidate will be able to perform site visits and deliver reports within 90 days of appointment. Extensive travel is expected, so flexibility is necessary.

Training includes job shadowing, accompanied visits, peer reviews, and full system training. NEBOSH training will be provided if needed.

Responsibilities:

  • Visit business/property locations of clients to gather risk information
  • Conduct health & safety audits and fire risk assessments
  • Support insolvency practitioners with insurance advice and risk mitigation
  • Deliver reports within specified standards and timescales
  • Assist in developing insurance programs with Case Managers

Requirements:

  • Experience in commercial/corporate insurance
  • Ability to respond quickly to site survey requests
  • Willingness to travel to risk locations
  • Ability to identify key risks and produce meaningful reports
