Job Description:

As a Site Supervisor, you will be responsible for resources associated with the repair and maintenance of the wastewater network across specific network areas for our client. You will supervise operational repair and maintenance support to resolve issues such as poor supplies, no water, leaks, and water quality issues. Activities include repairing burst mains, leak repair, stop tap repairs, installation of equipment, investigations/tracing supplies. You will provide operational leadership—ensuring work is delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to our client’s expectations. Customer service is critical, and satisfaction is measured through the C-MeX regulatory measure. You will work closely with the client to improve C-MeX ratings and demonstrate leadership in customer care. You will coordinate with the scheduling team to ensure timely delivery of repair and maintenance work and communicate with impacted customers as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operational supervisory responsibility for water repair and maintenance teams
• Organize labor efficiently, including recruitment, disciplinary actions, wages, and absence management
• Manage resources such as materials and equipment
• Ensure accurate documentation of work, including photographs and meter details
• Visit teams regularly at local sites to review progress and standards
• Conduct monthly team briefings, coaching, and development
• Perform team inspections focusing on quality and first-time right delivery
• Undertake health & safety inspections, raise safety issues, and investigate incidents

Experience and Qualifications:

• Relevant qualifications such as NRWSA at supervisory level
• Health & Safety qualification (advantage)
• Experience in utilities sector
• Supervisor Street Works qualification
• Deep Excavation knowledge and experience
• Good communication and management skills
• Financial and commercial awareness
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
• Full UK Driving Licence
• First Aid at Work, Abrasive Wheels, Manual Handling certifications
