Medirest Signature is seeking a Site Supervisor (Projects) for a full-time role at Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Birmingham. The position involves leading project pre-construction, supervising project delivery, and ensuring health and safety compliance while fostering stakeholder relationships.
Equans is looking for a Site Supervisor (Projects) to join our team at Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham. This is a permanent, full-time role, working 37.5 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package.
The Supervisor will take the lead in collating the Pre-Construction information for relevant packages of both Variations and Life Cycle works. This will be fundamental in project delivery by the Project managers to whom you will support from concept through to completion.
Build and sustain strong relationship with relevant stakeholders (Trust / SPV) to ensure the safe delivery of projects
Communication will be a key driver to liaise with the Trust/SPV and suppliers to initiate pre-start meetings and ensure all are aware of planned works
Support all phases of all projects involved with
Support the Project Managers with site presence, site meetings, collating of information
Supervise the Pre-construction gathering of information to ensure that Tender packs are suitable for the Project Manager to progress
Make sure project risks are identified and raised with the Project manager and as required input onto AIMS (H&S portal)
Supervising contractors, liaising with clients and other company departments during projects where necessary
Complete RAMS reviews supported by the Project Managers
The role is expected to supervise Variations, Life Cycle, Small works and any other project specific projects on request

Proven background in FM/projects, maintenance delivery, and the PFI environment
Ability to show understanding, and develop knowledge of Local Authority legislation, Planning Applications, Fire and Building Regulations Approvals
A sound knowledge of the Health and Safety at Work Act, the Construction Design and Management Regulation
Experience of Microsoft Office software essential, including Outlook, Word, Excel and Project
Considerable experience operating in the public and/or private sector with a demonstrable track record of supervising projects and small works within a large and complex estate
This role includes a DBS Standard check therefore ability to pass is essential.
