Construction Team - Mechanical Site Supervisor

We are looking to strengthen our Construction team with a Mechanical Site Supervisor based within the United Utilities Region.

You will report directly to the M & E Manager/Lead Site Supervisor. Your role will supervise and control all mechanical site activities efficiently, ensuring compliance with specifications and contract timelines, without compromising health and safety, and delivering a quality end product. This includes ensuring quality installation with all Inspection Test Plans (ITPs) completed as work progresses.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Support the Site Manager in maintaining a safe working environment for all employees, supply chain partners, and visitors;
2. Ensure that all relevant HS&E documents are correctly recorded and reviewed upon receipt, and are the latest versions;
3. Verify that all relevant documents adequately describe the work to be carried out;
4. Review and comment on Method Statements and Work Instructions as required by the Project Execution Plan;
5. Supervise work to ensure it is carried out in accordance with Method Statements and Work Instructions;
6. Record the progress of the works on record drawings or other suitable means as required;
7. Record all non-conformance issues and improvement opportunities, and agree on actions with the person in charge of the works.
