Site Manager – (EV Charging/ Civils / Utilities)

Field-Based | South of England (Must live south of Nottingham)

£40,000–£50,000 + Bonus + Van + Benefits

The Opportunity

We’re supporting a leading name in EV infrastructure as they expand their delivery team. They’re looking for a skilled Site Manager with a background in civil engineering or utilities to lead the charge on multiple EV charging projects across the South of England.

You’ll be the go-to person on-site—driving safety, quality, and progress across 2–3 live projects at a time. This is a hands-on, field-based position with travel and overnight stays fully covered (hotel + expenses + fuel).

Key Duties

• Mobilise Projects: Set up new sites, lead inductions, and deliver clear job briefs.
• Oversee Delivery: Coordinate contractors, maintain high standards, and keep works on track.
• Stay Connected: Keep daily contact with teams, even when managing remotely.
• Problem-Solve: Tackle on-site issues quickly and effectively.
• Travel Often: Field-based across the South—overnight stays required (all expenses paid).

What You'll Bring

• Solid experience in civils or utilities—EV, highways, cabling, or streetworks are all relevant.
• Confidence leading multiple sites with minimal supervision.
• A practical mindset and strong focus on site safety.
• Ideally qualified with SMSTS, NRSWA, CSCS or SHEA (not essential if experienced).
• Flexibility to travel regularly and stay away as projects demand.
