Job summary

HBS is seeking a Supervisor to oversee site operations across Scotland with a focus on road restraint system installation and maintenance. You will lead site operatives and subcontractors, ensuring works meet RAMS, specifications, and schedules while maintaining high safety and quality standards.

Role requires strong leadership, good communication, and a valid UK driving licence. The position offers varied shifts and opportunities for career progression within a growing business.

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory experience within highways, civil engineering, traffic management, or related industries.
• Strong knowledge of health and safety legislation and site management practices.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise road restraint system installation and maintenance works.
• Manage site operatives and subcontractors.
• Ensure all works are delivered in accordance with RAMS, specifications, and programme requirements.
• Conduct site briefings, toolbox talks, and safety inspections.
• Liaise with clients, principal contractors, and stakeholders on site.
• Monitor productivity and quality standards.
• Complete site documentation, reports, and records accurately.
• Promote a strong health, safety, and environmental culture.
