Installation Supervisors

Pay: £300 per day inside ir35.
Shifts: Nights with possible day work.
Location: Glasgow.
Length: 6 months.
Qualification: SMSTS, CSCS or other relevant construction and Management qualification.

Job Description:
Role and Responsibilities:

The Site Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the workflow of their teams and sub-contractors, ensuring efficient task allocation, staff support, performance monitoring, and reporting to senior management. Their key duties include:

Project Coordination & Workflow Management:

  1. Assign tasks to teams and sub-contractors.
  2. Monitor work progress and ensure alignment with project timelines.
  3. Identify areas for process improvement and implement necessary adjustments.

Team & Sub-Contractor Management:
  1. Provide guidance and problem-solving support to teams and sub-contractors.
  2. Conduct inductions for new staff, including training and policy briefings.
  3. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and safety standards.

Performance Monitoring & Reporting:
  1. Track individual and team performance, conducting appraisals and performance reviews.
  2. Offer training and development support to enhance team efficiency.
  3. Report work progress, upcoming tasks, and process changes to construction management.
