Job summary

Mint Selection is recruiting experienced Site Supervisors for upcoming renewable energy and grid infrastructure projects. Roles involve leading installation crews, ensuring work aligns with drawings, programme and quality standards, and maintaining site safety from mobilisation through testing.

Ideal candidates have supervisory experience in mechanical, electrical or civil works on energy projects, with SSSTS/SMSTS and CSCS cards preferred, and clear communication with crews and management.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising mechanical, electrical or civil works on energy projects.
• SSSTS or SMSTS and a CSCS card are preferred.
• Strong focus on site safety, permits to work and installation sequencing.

Responsibilities

• Oversee mechanical, electrical and civil works on site, ensuring work aligns with drawings and programme.
• Carry out daily site inspections and toolbox talks to maintain safe work areas.
• Check mounting systems, cabling and balance of plant installations against quality standards.
• Coordinate labour, materials and plant, and escalate issues to the site manager promptly.

Salary: Competitive day rate depending on experience

Contract length: 12 to 18 month contracts

Mint Selection is speaking with experienced Site Supervisors ahead of upcoming contract requirements on renewable energy and grid infrastructure builds. These roles keep installation crews and subcontractors working safely and to specification, and they sit close to the work from first mobilisation until the site is ready for testing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee mechanical, electrical and civil works on site, keeping installation to specification, drawings and programme
• Carry out daily site inspections and toolbox talks to keep work areas safe
• Check mounting systems, cabling and balance of plant installations against quality standards
• Coordinate labour, materials and plant, and expedite issues to the site manager promptly

Experience & Qualifications:

• Previous supervisory experience in mechanical, electrical or civil works on solar PV, BESS, substation or wider construction projects
• SSSTS or SMSTS and a current CSCS card
• Practical understanding of installation sequences, permits to work and site safety procedures
• Clear communication with crews, subcontractors and management
• Experience on utility-scale energy projects advantageous
