Job summary

SSEN Transmission seeks a Site Supervisor for the Banniskirk 400kV and Spittal Substation extension projects in Scotland. The role requires on-site presence five days a week and a strong focus on safety, quality, and meeting the project programme.

You will lead on-site activities, manage contractors, ensure CDM compliance, and report KPIs to the Project Manager. Accommodation can be provided; driving licence and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising complex construction projects.
• Understanding of CDM regulations and safety standards.
• Ability to interpret plans and monitor progress against project plans.
• Strong communication and leadership on site.

Responsibilities

• Represent SSEN Transmission on-site as the main contact and oversee contractor works.
• Ensure compliance with safety, CDM regulations, and quality requirements.
• Collaborate with contractor and operations to deliver to programme.
• Lead on-site safety culture and report KPIs to Project Manager.
• Support smooth project progression with stakeholders.
