Job description

We are recruiting for a Site Supervisor to work on clean water sites.

Salary: £17.33 per hour with opportunities for price work

Company Overview: We specialise in sustainable water asset management solutions, delivering exceptional value outcomes in potable water, wastewater, and the environment.

What you'll be doing:

  • Reporting to the Project Manager, responsible for delivering works, predominantly on clean water sites.
  • Travel and overnight stays will be part of the job.
  • Working at height and in confined spaces.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and assist with site preparation, including unloading and storing building materials and plant.
  • Review, during site setup, all documentation and ensure working methods are agreed upon, appropriate, and safe.
  • Ensure the team has the correct PPE for the project.
  • Report defects in tools, plant, equipment, and materials before the start of the project where possible.
  • Liaise with the Project/Site Coordinator to ensure project requirements are on schedule.
  • Maintain a safe and tidy working environment, including wearing full PPE at all times.
  • Deliver site inductions, toolbox talks, safety bulletins, etc.
  • Take responsibility for the safekeeping of machinery and materials, ensuring equipment is off-hired in a timely fashion.

Who we're looking for:

  • Experience managing on-site teams with a good understanding of concrete repair work.
  • Certifications: CSCS, SSSTS.
  • Experience in a supervisory role on-site.
  • Ability to lead a small team, work independently, and use initiative.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to complete tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to work safely at heights and in confined spaces, following relevant training.
  • Proactive in health & safety matters.
  • Willing to travel and work away from home as required.
