Job summary

Flogas is seeking a proactive Site Supervisor to lead daily yard operations, oversee the yard team, and ensure stock accuracy and safety. You’ll handle site access on a rota basis, input data in Maximo, and assist with vehicle loading while maintaining strong customer service standards.

The role demands a hands-on, team-oriented approach and a positive attitude toward safety, with training and development opportunities across our growing energy portfolio.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising yard operations and staff.
• Valid driving licence and ability to work flexible hours.
• Proficient with data input in Maximo and basic office tasks.

Responsibilities

• Effectively supervise the site in accordance with requirements.
• Support safety management to meet compliance and drive a culture of safety.
• Ensure stocks and financial controls within CODAS are followed.
• Daily use and data input in Maximo.
• Supervise Yard Hands and manage site access on a rota.
• Support vehicle loading and act as emergency controller when needed.
• Provide excellent customer service and work safely.

Job description

We're looking for a proactive and organised Site Supervisor to join our team. Reporting to the Site Manager, you'll oversee day-to-day yard operations, maintain accurate stock levels, and support essential office admin tasks to ensure everything runs smoothly and safely. You'll play a key role in supervising the yard team, managing site access on a rota basis, and driving a strong safety culture in line with our Safety Management System. With responsibilities ranging from data input in Maximo to supporting vehicle loading and acting as an emergency controller, this is a varied and rewarding role for someone who thrives in a hands‑on, fast‑paced environment. Here at Flogas, we may have a fossil fuels background, but we're working towards delivering 100% renewable energy to our customers by 2040. We're already supporting our customers to reduce their carbon emissions, by helping them make the switch from oil to gas. We're also developing our offering for technologies such as heat pumps and solar panels, beginning to help our customers reduce their energy consumption and evolving new bio‑fuels and renewable gases. • Effectively supervise the site in accordance with business and legislative requirements.
• Support safe management in accordance with the Safety Management System to meet compliance and drive a safety culture.
• Ensure compliance with company processes and procedures relating to stocks and financial controls within the operating system (CODAS).
• Daily use and data inputting within Maximo
• Comply with Flogas operating procedures and work instructions.
• Supervise and direct Yard Hands.
  Hold a full driving licence.
• Must be flexible and willing to work additional hours.
• Ability to work in a team or on own initiative.
• Professional and positive attitude.
• Must be committed to providing excellent customer service.
• Honest and trustworthy.
• Must be computer literate.
• Must have a positive attitude towards safety.
