Job summary

The Thorn Baker Group is seeking an experienced Freelance Site Supervisor for a major Sizewell C project in Suffolk. You will lead site operations, supervise subcontractors, and ensure works are completed on time and safely, within project standards.

Key responsibilities include coordinating daily activities, monitoring progress, and liaising with Site Managers to maintain programme integrity on a long-term, freelance basis.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Site Supervisor within construction.
• CSCS – essential.
• SSSTS – essential.
• Strong understanding of construction health & safety.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
• Previous experience supervising site teams.
• Must be able to successfully pass BPSS clearance.
• Right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day site activities and manage subcontractors.
• Coordinate daily site operations to meet programme.
• Ensure works are delivered safely and to required standards.
• Monitor health, safety and site compliance.
• Liaise with Site Managers and Project Managers.
• Carry out site inspections and monitor quality.
• Report progress and identify issues.
• Ensure site procedures and project requirements are followed.

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Supervisor to join a major construction project at Sizewell C in Suffolk on a long-term freelance basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Site Supervisor looking for a stable, long-term contract on a major UK infrastructure project.

The Role

As Site Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day site activities, managing subcontractors and ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently and to the required standards.
