We are seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to join an aspiring company based in Featherstone. This role is ideal for a highly organized and conscientious Site Supervisor.
Responsibilities:
Manage and be responsible for your own workforce, plant, materials, suppliers, and subcontractors.
Assist with phasing, planning, and programming of contracts.
Manage on-site QUENSH performance in line with company and customer policies.
Complete site files in accordance with company policy and QMS, ensuring compliance.
Handle on-site communications related to contracts, including customers, suppliers, and subcontractors.
Assist with operations training and ensure workforce competency aligns with company policy and QMS.
Support health, safety, and environmental objectives of the company.
Promote and ensure safe working practices among your team and suppliers/subcontractors.
Manage and improve the Site Safe Systems of Work.
Ensure all site team members are briefed on safety systems, with records of briefings available.
Ensure work standards comply with relevant standards such as MCDHW.
Oversee timely completion of timesheets, daily diaries, and measure sheets for wages, submitting them to the Senior Supervisor.
Collaborate with staff to optimize programming and efficiency.
Identify training needs and coordinate with QUENSH staff for training.
Ensure compliance with all company processes and systems.
Record and communicate any changes to site briefings or specifications promptly.
Candidate Skills and Experience:
Experience working on Civil/Construction projects, preferably Highways, RC Structures, or bridges.
Strong knowledge of construction techniques, regulations, standards, and contractual issues.
Understanding of contract documentation, drawings, and orders.
Skills in programming, planning, resourcing, and cost management.
Ability to work under pressure, confident and resourceful.
Qualifications:
CSCS Supervisor/Managers Card
SSSTS (advantageous but not essential)
NVQ Level 3 Supervisor (advantageous but not essential)
