Your new company
A professional civil contracting service that delivers projects on time and within budget, operating across the East of England.
Your new role
This organisation is looking for a freelance/part-time site supervisor to help oversee a number of civil projects across Bedfordshire and Peterborough. You will join a team of engineers and will ensure standards are maintained, and the contractors are working as expected.
Your Duties:
Independently manage day-to-day site activities and workload, providing direct support to Project Engineers to ensure project objectives are met efficiently and safely.
Undertake regular site inspections to monitor construction progress, identify any deviations from approved specifications, and ensure full compliance with health & safety regulations, environmental standards, and project requirements.
Provide timely site updates and written reports to Project Engineers, highlighting key developments, risks, delays, or required changes.
Conduct and assist with on-site surveys, including but not limited to manhole inspections, as built and level surveys, CCTV surveys, and drain/service tracing.
Manage and liaise with subcontractors on all assigned sites.
