Job summary

RTL Group is seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to support a high-profile civils and HV energy project in Liverpool. You will lead on-site activities, coordinate subcontractors, and ensure safe, efficient execution in line with drawings and specifications.

The role requires proven experience on substations or similar infrastructure, strong HV safety knowledge, and relevant civil/ electrical qualifications.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Site Supervisor on substation or similar infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of high-voltage safety procedures and protocols.
• Valid CSCS card (Supervisor level or above).
• SSSTS or SMSTS certification (essential).
• National Grid / SSE / SPEN authorisations (desirable).
• Experience managing RAMS and permit-to-work systems.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily site operations on a high scale project.
• Coordinate subcontractors, trades, and suppliers to meet project milestones.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards, especially within high-voltage environments.
• Oversee civil works (foundations, ducting, drainage) and/or electrical installation activities.
• Conduct RAMS, toolbox talks, and risk assessments (RAMS).
• Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and resolving issues promptly.
• Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with technical drawings and specifications.
• Liaise with project managers, engineers, and client representatives.
• Maintain accurate records including site diaries, inspections, and permits.

You will play a key role in ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality execution of works on site.,

• Ensure strict compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards, particularly within high-voltage environments
