Job summary

Temple Learning Academy in Leeds is seeking a dedicated Site Supervisor to maintain the safe and welcoming environment of our school. You will oversee buildings, grounds and facilities, ensuring high standards of cleanliness, security and practicality for pupils and staff.

Split shifts (6am–2pm or 11am–7pm) provide flexibility to cover early starts and busy periods as part of a collaborative facilities team focused on wellbeing and smooth day-to-day operations.

Qualifications

  • Experience in premises, facilities, maintenance or similar role.
  • Comfortable working in busy school environment.
  • Ensures safety, security and well-being of staff and pupils.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain safety and upkeep of buildings and grounds.
  • Monitor security and accessibility of facilities.
  • Support school operations and events as part of the team.

We are looking for a dedicated and reliable Site Supervisor to join our team. Working as part of our school community, you will play a key role in ensuring our buildings, grounds and facilities are safe, secure and welcoming for pupils, colleagues and visitors.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has practical skills and experience in premises, facilities, maintenance or a similar role
  • Takes pride in their work and has a proactive approach to problem-solving
  • Can work independently, prioritise tasks and manage competing demandsHas good communication skills and enjoys working with a wide range of people
  • Understands the importance of health and safety and maintaining a safe environment
  • Is reliable, flexible and committed to supporting the school community
