National Highways is seeking a Site Supervisor for the South West region, based at Wylye Depot. You will supervise major maintenance and minor improvement schemes, perform construction surveillance and ensure quality of works by external contractors.
This safety-critical role involves travel to sites, with potential evenings/nights/weekends and an overtime allowance. A valid license and up to 3 points are required.
National Highways have an excellent opportunity for a Site Supervisor to join our team in Operations. As a Site Supervisor, you will play a key role in the delivery of major maintenance and minor improvement schemes across the South West region. Reporting directly to the Construction Assurance Manager, you will undertake construction surveillance and assurance inspections to verify quality of works undertaken by external contractors.
You'll have the opportunity to work a varied schedule, which may include regular evenings, nights and weekends, and you'll benefit from paid overtime and/or an out-of-hours allowance in addition to your base salary for any work undertaken during these times.
As this is a safety-critical role with regular travel to sites across the region. This role is based from Wylye Depot and you must either live or be able to relocate to within one hour's commutable distance.
Please note that you will be required to drive as part of your role, and you will need to have no more than 3 points to be considered for this position and during employment.
