Qualifications

Job description

My client are a leading energy solution provider that are looking to onboard a Site Supervisor with the NSI6+8 authorisations for National Grid, to an ongoing energy infrastructure package being delivered in Stoke-on-Trent.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage the civils installation in accordance with project specifications and safety guidelines.
• Ensure all work is carried out to the highest standards of quality and safety.
• Coordinate with team members and contractors to ensure smooth execution of the project.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and address any issues promptly.
• Maintain clear and professional communication with stakeholders, ensuring project timelines and objectives are met.
• Adhere to all National Grid and CSCS regulations and guidelines throughout the project.

Qualifications

• National Grid Competent Persons (Full NSI6+8 Authorisation)
• CSCS Card (mandatory).
• Proven experience in supervising similar projects, particularly involving Anti-Vandal Fence removal.
• Strong understanding of health and safety regulations within the construction and utilities sectors.
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Day-to-Day

• Oversee daily operations on-site, ensuring all activities align with project plans.
• Conduct toolbox talks and safety briefings with the team.
• Monitor and report on project progress to senior management.
• Address any on-site challenges or issues promptly and effectively.
• Ensure all team members comply with safety protocols and procedures.
