Job summary

A leading educational organization in Hemel Hempstead seeks a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee maintenance and repairs at a new school. This role requires management experience and knowledge of Health & Safety regulations. You will ensure the safety of the school environment and support a team of maintenance workers. Competitive salary of £28,282 - £31,073 plus excellent benefits, including a £1,000 referral bonus.

Maintenance Supervisor - Our School

Being a maintenance supervisor in our school means being part of something big. You’ll be doing your bit to make sure the school building is a great place to be for our young people.

Salary: £28,282 - £31,073 + excellent benefits

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise a skilled team to carry out maintenance and repairs.
  • Fix problems and keep school grounds neat and tidy.
  • Ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations, undertake safety inspections, and stay updated on issues.
  • Liaise with the Regional Property Manager and support the Head Teacher.

Opening in Spring 2026, Felden Hall School is a purpose-built, state-of-the-art school for up to 115 pupils aged 5-16, catering to children with diverse needs including autism and social, emotional, and mental health needs. Our goal is to provide an outstanding educational experience with a focus on individual pupil progress and care.
