A leading contractor is seeking an experienced Site Manager for a high-value commercial fit-out project in Reading. You will manage specific packages and ensure compliance and safety on site. The ideal candidate has proven experience with CAT B projects, holds relevant certifications, and can work independently. The contract runs for 12 weeks at £250 per day.

Site Manager - CAT B Fit Out (Contract)

Location: Reading

Rate: £250 per day CIS (DOE)

Duration: 12 weeks remaining (until mid-December)

Start: Within 1-2 weeks

4Site Recruitment are exclusively representing a leading contractor on a high-value commercial fit-out project in Reading. We are seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to oversee specific packages on a £6m, 2-floor CAT B fit out project.

Role & Responsibilities
  • Manage allocated packages including drylining, joinery, and decorating.
  • Ensure smooth delivery of works while reporting to the overall project leads.
  • Read and interpret drawings effectively.
  • Maintain site safety and compliance at all times.
  • Open site daily (must be on site by 7am).
  • Work independently when senior management is not on site.
Requirements
  • Proven experience delivering CAT B fit out projects.
  • Valid SMSTS / SSSTS, CSCS, First Aid, Fire Warden, and Asbestos Awareness.
  • Temporary Works Coordinator (TWC) ticket desirable.
  • Own laptop and strong written & spoken English skills.
  • Local to Reading
Project Details

  • Hours: 7am - 4pm

  • Strong organisational skills and ability to work independently.
