Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate daily joinery operations, ensuring smooth workflow and efficient production.
Oversee the fabrication, assembly, and installation of wooden structures, fittings, and furniture.
Interpret technical drawings, plans, and specifications to ensure precision and quality.
Monitor quality control and ensure all products meet company and client standards.
Train, mentor, and manage joinery staff, ensuring skill development and adherence to best practices.
Liaise with project managers, contractors, and clients to ensure seamless execution of projects.
Maintain inventory and oversee the procurement of materials and tools.
Enforce health and safety regulations, ensuring a safe working environment for all employees.
Troubleshoot issues, providing technical solutions and process improvements.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Joinery Supervisor or in a similar leadership role within the woodworking/joinery industry.
Strong knowledge of woodworking techniques, tools, and materials.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Strong attention to detail and quality assurance mindset.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Familiarity with health and safety regulations in a workshop environment.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Qualifications:
Certification or diploma in carpentry, joinery, or a related field.
CSCS
SSMST OR SSSTS
