Job summary

Elvet Recruitment are recruiting a Site Supervisor for a Civil Engineering business operating across Waste, Highways, Public Realm and Industrial sectors. The candidate will supervise civils gangs on water and civils projects, ensure RAMS are in place, and assist the Site Agent with daily site operations while maintaining stringent

Qualifications

• Experience as Site Supervisor on civil engineering and water projects.
• Supervising civils gangs on projects above £500k.
• Knowledge of Treatment Works, Drainage, Foundations, RC Frames.
• Must hold SMSTS/SSSTS and CSCS.
• Temporary Works qualifications are essential.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate gangs and allocate tasks.
• Brief and check RAMS before works.
• Monitor progress and adjust staffing as needed.
• Lead HSE toolbox talks and site safety briefings.
• Manage site permits and regulatory compliance.
• Perform plant checks and equipment inspections.
• Assist Site Agent with daily site operations.

• Full responsibility for co-ordinating gangs.
• Briefing RAMS.
• Putting staff to work and monitoring progress.
• HSE toolbox talks.
• Site permits.
• Plant checks.
• Assisting Site Agent with daily running of site.

Experience required:

• Experience working as Supervisor on civil engineering & Water projects
• Experience supervising civils gangs on projects 500k+.
• Detailed knowledge with: Treatment Works, Drainage, Foundations, RC Frames
• SMSTS/SSSTS and CSCS.
• Temporary Works qualifcations is a must

Remuneration:

A salary of circa 52,000 + package plus other excellent benefits included with being an employee of the company
