About the Role

At Cavendish Nuclear we’re working to create a safe and secure world, together, and if you join us, you can play your part as a Site Supervisor, at our Torness Nuclear Power Station site.

The role involves supporting operations at Torness as the station transitions from operational status into defueling and decommissioning.

Responsibilities
  • Support the safe execution of planned operations in line with work pack instructions
  • Conduct safety inspections and behavioural observations
  • Brief working parties and subcontractors, and set them to work
  • Follow company procedures and safety protocols
  • Lead by example, with a 50/50 split between supervisory duties and hands-on work
Essential Experience and Qualifications

Essential experience includes supervisory experience in a technical field or previous delegated responsibility, and experience in highly regulated environments.

  • Level 4 (HNC) in a relevant Engineering discipline or Level 3 with an approved apprenticeship
